I was thinking about learning to play this classical guitar because I like how it sounds and always wanted to learn an instrument. The other reason is that I want to get chicks in bed with me. Will it work?

My earliest memory at a hot flush and chemistry was walking the subway as a child and hearing and seeing this guy playing on this guitar and singing with such feeling with a laid back body language …it was the rawness, the openess of his expression and the confidence and meaning in his voice… he wore his heart on his sleeve as he sang – which was at once soft/vulnerable but very brave/masculine … a balance i love in a guy!
I have been involved with a few guys that play guitar and i have to say classical doesnt really reach me unless he puts his whole body and facial expression into it like Mike Olefield (tubular bells) but the guys I dated that used acoustic guitar and sang was something that rocked my world…! What a guy lacks in intonation and sincerity he can capture in a song and a note that just pierces the womens feelings … so i’d say it definately works!!
You got to be talened first though. If anyone who just pick up a guitar and be good, everybody would do it, but it’s something that is not too easy and takes practice, but even being good with the practice takes an ear for music. And every guy would have a guitar if just an old average joe could be good with the guitar. Don;t you have to have talent to be impressive to impress the girls in the first place? And if you need a guitar to get girls, that’s for the wrong reason, that is just a bonus. It should be for the music and desire to impress and put on a rocking performance. And if a man needs a guitar to get girls in bed, then he’s using it as a tool and isn;’t actually charming or have qualities himself, or else he would not need to play a guitar to get girls in bed. And don;t you meant acoustic guitar? What is a classical guitar?
Being a musician is a good way to attract women, and playing an instrument you like the sound of is a good idea. You’ll learn more quickly. And with classical guitar, even the beginning stages of learning it are easy to listen to. Classical guitar is beautiful and often quietly thrilling, but you will still have to manage the transition from playing to bed. Still, could be worse (a tuba is a lot bulkier and definitely not so sexy).
classical guitar? uh, maybe not… there are some really impressive classical guitarists that make some of the powerchord pumping ‘guitarists’ out there look foolish, but they’re mostly old european men.
ever thought about gangsta rap? then you can have all the superficial attention you want.
To get chicks in bed? Not your best strategy, the kind of woman that would be allured by classical guitar are not going to be the kind who will allow a quick score( of coarse i am generalizing). I would say your better off with a few stiff drinks and some social skills
Well, I’m not personally all that musical, and no tparticuarly fond of the guitar, so it wouldn’t work for me. But it might for some women. You’ll only find out if you try it.
Sadly no, that is reallyt sad you want to learn the guitar to get people in bed with you. if the only thing that will entice them is playing a few chords then you must be lacking in other departments….sorry
I have always loved good music but I wouldn’t just jump into bed with a guy because he can play guitar.
The kind of girl who would is the kind you will probably catch some little friends from, if you get my drift.
Most definitely, but the “chicks” you would get in bed would be a certain type of “chick.”
(p.s. who says “chicks” anymore?)
I like classical guitar but I can’t say it’s alluring in the sense I’ve ever jumped a classical guitar player.
