you know those fret markers on acoustic guitars. i want to draw the white dots on my classical guitar so that i can play the guitar more easily. i use my classical guitar just like it’s an acoustic guitar. i don’t pluck the strings, just strum them.
if i can, then where do i put these dots?
my guiatr didnt come with dots so i got som paper and stuck it on the top part of the neck with tape on the 5th 7th 9th frets but you can put them on 11th 13th if you want
I like Lefty Guitarist’s answer the best, and I’ve been playing for 46 years. Give him 10 points.
There’s no reason why you can’t put dots on your guitar.
I just wanted to add there are forms of “White-Out” that actually glow a bit in the dark…something you might want to consider if you find yourself playing in low light situations.
Best of luck and keep laying till those fingers bleed.
Dont do that… just get use to it, you dont pluck a classical guitar anyways, the only diffrence is you hold it in classical position if your really playing like that.
but to answer your question
3,5,7,9,12,15,17
no you cant ‘put’ them on the fretboard, but what i did when i had a classical, was put a dot of white out on the top side of the neck (the one pointing at your face when your playin) put one on the 3rd fret, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th frets
3,5,7,9,12,15,17,19.21,24 frets
sounds like a good idea if it didnt have any already on their
just dont make em’ sloppy
Why did you even buy classical guitar? If you want an acoustic guitar why don’t you just buy one?
Just buy than messing up your classical guitar
