Well, you might not really like the beginning jazz, because it’s easy and no double or triple turns are put in, and most girls and guys don’t have their splits for great leaps yet. But stick to it, because as you get older, jazz is SO fun! Sassy personalities, Tough moves, and awesome songs are all part of jazz. Soon you’ll be amazing, and you’ll love it soooo much, you’ll dance everywhere, like the mall, hallways, and school! (like me, haha). As for what you should wear- every studio has a different dress code, but shorts (no jean or khaki, just sweat material, etc.) like Soffe’s, basketball shorts, booty shorts, etc. are awesome. Leggings, tighter material pants, tank tops, form-fitting T-Shirts, and basically that kind of stuff are ok. No baggy sweatpants, sweatshirts, or too skimpy outfits. Teachers like to see how you’re doing, and you can’t cover it, but they DON’T want to see “all of that”. Haha. Good luch, and have fun!

It’s fun, as long as you don’t beat yourself up. If you have fun, try all the moves, give it your best, and don’t get intimidated by people that may be better than you, yes, it’s fun. :] So just don’t compare youself to others, and don’t be afraid to take risks. You’ll get better over time.
You should call and ask the studio or teacher, because it totally depends. You may have to wear tights and a leotard, or jazz pants and a tank top, or they may not care, as long as you’re not wearing street clothes.
