   Classical Liberalism is modern day Fiscal and Social Libertarianism with heavy influnence of conservative ideals. Modern day Liberalism is welfare and security based and heavily influenced by socialism.

   Classical liberalism means a free economic and political system, its the “liberal” when you hear “liberal democratic institutions” or” liberal economies.” Modern liberalism really isn’t a term such as classical liberalism. The modern liberalism you speak of is the generic use of the word “liberal” which refers to left-of-center in the political spectrum.

   The Bill of Rights is still the most liberal basis for a national Government ever written, deny it if it makes you feel better about being closed minded.
   It is still a free country, thanks to liberals.
