Led Zeppelin I Is completely blues base heavy metal with the exception of “Black Mountain Side”. I’m sure you’ve listened to it but you may want to take a listen again to hear how much of a blues LP it really is. The vast majority of early Heavy Metal was based upon blues riffs. Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple are just a few of the bands where you can hear the blues influence.

Heavy metal has had a longstanding history of influence from blues rock music. It’s not uncommon to find metal music that has elements of it. IMO, metal acts like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Metallica are just a couple of examples have some stuff that does sound like it has some blue influence. That is just a couple of examples.
Motorhead
Black Sabbath
Phafner
Sir Lord Baltimore
Thats all I can think of at the moment. But im sure you already had Sabbath and Motorhead… oh well. Phafner and Sir Lord Baltimore are great. SLB was actually the first band to be labeled Heavy Metal by the press.
