So I put music files on the flashdrive, and put them on my other computer, and that worked, only the files won’t play, saying that it can’t find the network, or something? I’m not sure. Anyone else have this problem? And how, if I can, do I fix it? I’m trying to burn these songs onto a disc, but my other computer is a piece of crap and doesn’t burn CDs, so I was trying to put them on my computer that does. Help would be much appreciated, as this is for a Christmas present for a friend…
Thanks in advanced.
It’s just like copying files from one folder to another…. Plug in your flashdrive, go to windows explorer, find your music files, right-click, select copy – then go to your flashdrive (and it’s subfolders) rightclick and select Paste. Remove the flashdrive (using the safely remove hardware link), plug it into the new computer and reverse the procedure…Done!!
Also, make sure that the songs are not protected by any DRM (Digital Rights Management). If they are, you can only play them on the device they were originally installed on…

that will depend on what player you were using on the first computer to save it. if it were on the iTunes and your second computer has no iTunes, it will never play. you have to change the player by right clicking and choose on which player to open it, either on Windows Media Player or whatever player you have in that computer. then make it as a default again.
well usually it’s a simple drag and drop with flash drives there’s really not much to it. What software are you using for playing? Itunes?
