Jul 122010

I have seen some really nice blog pages that makes mine look plain and boring. Can somebody please tell me what to do to make it look nice and interesting. I am only able to use the background available on the page but i see some people with exceptionally nice background and all.

    Customise your colours and background. Check out the answers to this question for some ideas. (Kee gives an excellent answer, and many cool links):http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind…
    You can add extra pics to each blog entry, by using the codes provided on various graphics sites (glitter graphics, etc. e.g: http://www.sparkletags.com/) To insert these into a blog entry, you must first check the html box at the top of your “compose blog entry” box.
    You can add music to your blogs. Try these sites:http://www.imeem.com/http://www.projectplaylist.com/
    At projectplaylist, you can add up to 70 songs on a music player that you can put in your blog. To add one of these music players, copy the embed code. In your “compose blog entry” box, first click “view html source”, then paste the code there.
    You can add quiz results from sites like blogthings and quizzilla, all different kinds of generators from sites like pyzam and pimp my yearbook.
    I use all these things in my blog, and you’re welcome to have a look for ideas any time. If you need any help with these suggestions, you can email me through answers or my 360 if you like :)

    start by learning how to make a custome theme for your background.
    this is easy as can be friend… it looks like a lot of steps but they are not hard to follow and once you do it one time.. it is just easy okay.. so here we go.
    CUSTOMIZE YOUR THEME FOR 360 BLOG PAGES
    This is really easy to do friend..trust me.. hehe
    go to MY PAGE and at the top of that page on the right hand side is the option to change theme.. click onto that option and when the page comes up to change your background colors do this..
    Change the look of your Yahoo! 360° page by picking a theme. Click “Apply Theme” to make the change.
    There you have changed the colors .. or .. “theme ” on your 360!
    You are brilliant! lol
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~…
    If you would like to add a picture that you have on your pc then that is also simple do this…
    click onto the option that is customize your theme
    this will take you back to MY PAGE with a pop up square to use to customize your theme..
    three rules to follow when using any kind of photo on Yahoo..
    1. it must be jpeg file format photo.. that is the letters that are at the end of the file name .. like this.. lockerridge image no. 2 jpg… that is how it should look or any kind of jpeg file in that series will work..
    2. If this photo is for your id purposes.. it must not be any larger than 5 MB
    3. If this photo is for your background it must not be any larger than 250kbs..
    the best size for a tiled picture is around 600 x 400..
    Now click the option that says browse on at the first placement option.. you can play with the others later after you figure out how this works..
    click the option to tile the photo.. it has others but later okay.. lol
    then when the search box appears pick a photo that you have that matches the guidelines I told you above..
    then scroll on down and see the places you can put different colors to your individual pages.. just click the slot and a color slide will show up and slide it around until you get the color you want ..
    pick out the kind of lettering style .. or font .. you want and just continue on until you have all the colors and fonts chosen then click preview or save and you now have a custom theme on your 360!
    see I told you it was easy..
    lol have fun and good luck..
