Go to the library of congress website and get all the info... it costs 30 or 35 bucks, BUT you can put a bunch of songs on one CD and copyright them all as a compilation album for the same price. They allow you to assign any rights you wish to reserve, and even allow you to sell your songs online if you wish. So far, I only offer my compositions for free, but I may post a couple on there for a suggested donation to see if I can raise money for my classroom, sometime in the future. There are many others like my space and you tube and even Apple's site itunes or isongs or something like that, but I like the community feeling I get from this site and I have a lot invested in it (Time and effort, not money) so I mention it when I can.
