I use crutches 90% of the time, mostly aluminum underarms and don’t do anything to camouflage or call attention to them. My forearms are black composite material. Instead of jazzing up my crutches, I wear a high heel sandal or pointed toe pump with my crutches. I have never seen the need to jazz up my crutches, but my foot in a sexy shoe says it all. Hope your surgery goes well, let me know.

If you don’t want to strip them down and re-paint, find yourself some bright pink electrical or duct tape and carefully wrap them in that. You can do just about anything… ribbon, streamers, colored tape, stickers… you could probably even cover that icky beige colored foam stuff with fabric.
Just go crazy. They’re only crutches.
