Metal response elements are the sequence of nucleotides in Gene promoter region which interact with the metal part of certain proteins. I want to know the sequences of such nucleotides in diffrent genes in human genome.

NCBI is good. You can get there by going to http://www.pubmed.com and clicking one of the sub-topics over the search box (ie. “genome”). Another great tool is http://www.expasy.org. There are many types of search programs at this site. You could BLAST your sequence there and it will return matches and report the level of homology for each. There might be a program that searches gene promoters for the metal response elements.
