Because when I compared my guitar to my music teacher’s guitar its sound wasn’t just better but its strings were really allot easier to press down… Or is it just a higher quality strings?

Yes, Higher Quality Instruments are made using better materials, and craftsmanship, but they are also setup to play better. It’s an old cliche, but you do get what you pay for.

Higher quality strings will sound better on your guitar, but they will probably play about the same. If you bought your guitar on line, take it in to a qualified luthier for a “set up” and that may improve the playability of your guitar.
Higher quality string will last longer and are more durable, but tone is totally subjective. What seems thin to one person may be perfect for someone else. Just try different strings til you find the tone you want. Good luck.
