Hi, I’ve only got an acoustic guitar and no money to buy a classical. Can I play the acoustic like a classical? What problems may I have to keep in mind? One more question: Anytime I push down to play a string or chord(especially barre) when I lift my fingers back up to move to another string it always make a sound and this distorts what I’m playing sometimes. What can I do to stop this?
you know those fret markers on acoustic guitars. i want to draw the white dots on my classical guitar so that i can play the guitar more easily. i use my classical guitar just like it’s an acoustic guitar. i don’t pluck the strings, just strum them.
if i can, then where do i put these dots?
I know with spanish they use nylon cords but what should i do since the other one use steel. What guitar would be my best option i’m look to pay around $200 to $250
I’m gonna start doing classical guitar lesson’s but i already bought a Yamaha acoustic guitar (good sound). Should i give it back and buy a classical guitar. What would be the music difference?
I currently play electric guitar and bass, but i am really starting to listen to a lot more acoustic, finger picking, and chord based work. I’m not sure what to get cause i know an acoustic is a little more versatile, but classical is so much better for finger picking.

I have been told that they are detrimental to each other by some classical teachers but been told by bass teachers that they both improve each other.
