can you wear overseas stripes from being stationed in korea? i know combat stripes on the class a’s are different from overseas stripes on the dress blues. what A.R. is it in?
…I’ve seen some photos (online and elsewhere) of Soldiers in their Dress Blues without the name tag… I think putting a name tag on your dress uniform looks totally lame, and I’d rather wear without it if I’m allowed to.
Im leaving for Infantry OSUT at Ft Benning this summer and I was wondering when are they going to start issuing Army Dress blues at basic, and if there still issuing greens. Just wondering, I heard that some people arent even getting a dress uniform in basic and there just getting their ACUs.
Besides wearing my full size medals and my branch and U.S. Insignia, what else is worn with full size medals when wearing dress blues? Is the Regimental Insignia authorized, obviously all ribbions are not, including unit citations. Just curious, I can’t find it clearly defined in AR 670-1. I plan to wear my full size medals with dress blues for my wedding.
I am missing a branch patch or crest or something from my Army dress blues officer uniform for the new regulations that began Aug 2008. I would like to find a picture so I can ask the nearest clothing/sales for it. Anyone have any suggestions on what it might be called or a picture with this branch crest thing on it?? Thanks
