I really want to learn to dance because it looks so cool and I feel like I could do it! I’m moderately flexible and I have some good core muscles. I’m just wondering if it’s a bad idea, just out of the question, or if I should give it a shot, and if I should then how? What should i do to start to learn?
I’m signing up for dance this summer. I’ve never done much dance. I like it, of course, and I love being on stage. I did ballet in preschool and second grade and excelled at it. I tried to do ballet two years ago but it was too hard for me. Basically, I’m a preteen-aged girl who has little experience in dance, but wants to sign up. I can sign up for jazz, hip-hop, tap, or ballet.
I have no clue what jazz is. My mom described hip-hop as being like emotional dancing to modern music, but I don’t really know what that is either. Am I too old to start? Can someone please explain what these forms of dancing are and make some reccomensations as to which one I might like?
where do i go to take these classes? i would like to improve flexibility (im already kinda sorta flexible) i just want be more flexible than im already am and want 2 learn more and different techniques. also i love to dance. so i want 2 go to a class to help me with these things? Any suggestions, ( places in Miami, Fl.) thank you.
