I’ve never done much dance. I like it, of course, and I love being on stage. I did ballet in preschool and second grade and excelled at it. I tried to do ballet two years ago but it was too hard for me. Basically, I’m a preteen-aged girl who has little experience in dance, but wants to sign up. I can sign up for jazz, hip-hop, tap, or ballet.
I have no clue what jazz is. My mom described hip-hop as being like emotional dancing to modern music, but I don’t really know what that is either. Am I too old to start? Can someone please explain what these forms of dancing are and make some reccomensations as to which one I might like?
