I want something slow and beautiful like Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. Or possibly something that’s beautiful, but chilling and dark at the same time. Where you can just feel it in the piano playing.

Hi everyone! I need your suggestions on a beautiful classical piano piece for my piano competition. I’ll take any composer but I NEED IT TO BE A SLOW SONG. I dont want any of the high energy and rapid pieces, just something slow and elegant. And I don’t care how hard it is either. Just a slow, moving song. Whats the most moving piece to you? I have loved classical music every since childhood , but currently I have almost no classical music in my music collection I would like to start a collection can anyone give some really beautiful classical song titles and artist names? Maybe start with some classics well known must haves and possibly some new masterpieces?
