I have a fender active deluxe jazz bass and i recently took the strings off cause the bridge looked messed up. im taking it up to guitar center today for them to restring it. So my question is, what bass strings would be right for me? I have a jazz bass and i play mostly 70’s classic rock and slap funk.
I really just began to listen to Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Louis Armstrong and I love them! I was wondering what some other classic singers there are out there?
Or CDs.
Think Billie Holiday’s “Easy To Love” and “Pennies From Heaven.” Songs with or without vocals. Older songs are just as wonderful. I love jazz piano. Please, no free form stuff. I like the classic jazz sound.
Im trying to get a good song for me and my Daddy to dance to at my wedding reception. He and I are both big into classic rock and Blues music so if you have any suggestions please let me know!
Also looking for hubby suggestions as well. It can be anything, country, rock, oldies, fast or slow. It doesn’t matter, fiance can dance – daddy not so much.
thanks!

I just got an iPod Classic for Christmas and am trying to figure out how to put music videos on there. I also am unsure where you can find free, downloadable, and good quality videos. Any ideas?
Like but not limited too Creedence Clearwater Revival Aerosmith and ZZ top. I also like Black Stone Cherry and Shinedown. Specific songs would be nice too.
I am a 16 year old and I have a big passion for music. I am an avid performer on piano, vocals and harmonica. To kinda increase my music knowledge I have explored to roots and stuff. The only thing I really don’t know about is blues and what to listen to in order to understand basic 12 – bar blues and so on. Can you name any blues musicians other than B.B. King who were significant and their essential recordings I should listen to? Thank you very much!!
