It’s a wide cuff bracelet of hammered silver colored metal.
I’ve only worn it 3 times then it sat in a drawer. There’s a film of gunky stuff that makes it dull and it doesn’t go away by wiping wit a dry or damp kleenex.
What can I use to clean it with, please? It’s not real silver, just costume jewelry. Thanks.
What is an effective way to clean old rusty metal objects?
I have a gold-colored plate type of thing that you hang up on the wall, and it has these to gold miners imprinted on the front from hammer pangs in the back of the plate.
It was my grandpa’s and it is even old that him, but it has gotten a tad rusty with some weird Green colored stuff hardened on it.
Whats the best way to clean it?
Home supplies.
It’s an Oreck XL Professional with a metal filter that never needs replacing. I bought the cleaning solution they sell, but I’m wondering if there is something else I can use? I need something that is going to take the caked on junk (mostly from cigarette smoke I think) off of the metal. Just in case anyone else has some experience with one.
Thanks!
