I’m doing voice (singing) lessons at school and have to choose 1 to do. What’s the difference and what sort of musicals/operas can I get involved into when I’ve learned it all?
Also, do these lessons change the voice type you end up with?
(I’m aiming for tenor or countertenor)
I’ve already got Sax Pack- fallin for you (and it’s great) but i want more!!!! Is there any great songs you’re listening to right now? Matter of fact, it can be older music as long as it’s good
I would really like some experience behind the answer, i was just wondering what was different, which dance is more challenging, and your opinion on the dance.
thanks a ton

I need to find instrumental music for the prelude and also music for the seating of the grandparents and then music for my bridesmaids and then my song when i walk down. THANKS
You know what? The current dance scene is so full of fusion styles that mix various forms of dance together in the never-ending quest to create something original that the lines have become totally blurred. Basically, ballet lays down the rules of dance and modern tries to find every single way to break those rules, and then there’s everything else in-between. Thus, today’s contemporary ballet is a fusion of ballet and modern. But my daughter has had many jazz and modern teachers that you could barely tell one from the other by observing their classes. It’s really up to the individual teacher to say how they define it.
I’m thinking of songs that are like Apologize by timbaland/one republic. It is kind of a mellow song but has a beat in the background so it’s easy to dance to. Does anybody know anymore songs that are good for a contemporary jazz routine?
I am having a hard time picking out a classical piece of music like something from Bach, Mozart, Beethovann, Chopin or others and compare it to a contemporary piece of today? Help!
