Don’t get me wrong I’ve been listening to this music for many years, but I am not too big fan on categorizing music… Even so today I wondered what is the difference. All the 3 sub-styles sound more ambient and chill-out that let’s say Darkstep . Jazz and bass seems to use more ‘real’ instruments in the tracks but that can be said for any of the other 2 styles… So what is your opinion? 
I need comparative studies showing the differences and the similarities .And if any online references and papers that tackle this subject .

i am thinking of studying classical studies for school.e dont have it iin my school but i am planning to teach it to myself. From what i have heard, it is mainly history of Greek stuff and Romans,which sounds way more interesting than the stuff we do at school.
so anyway,could someone tell me the differences and the things you learn about and do you have to have a basic knowledge of latin?
