I have Windows Vista and I wanted to download music into the music library that comes with the computer. I wanted to know where I could go to get free music downloads without downloading virus’ onto my computer or without having to provide an insane amount of personal information. Thanks for the help.
My friend always downloads his music from sources such as lime wire, when I tell him that technically that is considered stealing he says lame excuses such as “I’m just trying before I buy” then I tell him there is youtube and he then says he has no money for CD. What can I say to make him see that stealing is wrong? He claims musicians should make music for the love of music, not to survive.
My iTunes library, for whatever reason, keeps deleting itself. This has already happened twice, and I want to be able to take the music off my iPod and put it in my ‘My Music’ folder, just in case something ever happens to my iPod. Any way I can do this without downloading some outside program off the internet?
What are the laws about stealing music or movies on the Internet? Who catches these people and how do they choose who to arrest? What are the consequences? If someone gets fined, won’t they be pissed off and say why did they choose me and not some other person who downloads? I don’t think the downloader should get into any trouble because if it’s available on the internet, why not download the music or movies you want? What are your opinions about downloading music or movies on the Internet?
Personally I prefer to use Soulseek to download my music. Or The Pirate Bay to download torrents via UTorrent. I don’t think much about the effect it has on the music industry or the bands whose music I am illegally downloading, it’s free and saves me a lot of money.

I really don’t have a lot of mney for CDs, maybe a few, but I have too many bands I like and I can’t get them all. My mom isn’t too fond about paying for my songs on itunes, either. I really want to pay respect to the bands I like by actually paying for their music, does anyone know where I can get music for cheap or something?
I feel like iTunes is too expensive, and I would like to change my music source. I’m looking for a music web site (most preferably, unlimited music) that is cheap BUT ALSO reliable so that I can find any music I wish to seek. Legal, of course.

When I go to sync my music to my Ipod through Itunes, my music is not alphabetical. So when I go to my Ipod I click music, then songs, but the songs are just in a random order even though they are alphabetical in my library on itunes. Does anyone know what is wrong and how I can fix it, this is really bugging me lol. Thanks!
