Have you ever met a famous classical musician, conductor, or composer?
If so , how did you meet them? Is there a particular classical musician, conductor, or composer that is still alive that you would love to meet?
After being wowed by his amazing performance I would love to meet James Ehnes. If you haven’t heard of him you should defiantly check him out on youtube ! An amazing violinist !
Also, I was very interested in what i call the hardcore of classical (i.e. ones like Marche Slave, and some parts of Romeo and Juliet, I and V) things that will just make me wanna blast the radio as loud as possible, you know? Im kinda new to this stuff but i think they call it russian style or hungarian, or something…idk. but whatever you think is similar will help thanks
When I was a kid around ten, I used to collect pop bottles, turn them in for dough, and pay and old black man with curly white hair to play the blues. He liked his wine, too. Mom used to whip me for going, but I’d go see him again.
Ahhh, good times.
Who was this man…the finest picker to ever play the blues?
Ten massive points to the answer which amuses me the most.
I’m getting into classical music and I’m trying to purchase some cds, so I would like to know what are the most commonly known to be the very best ever. Has any legitimate website, magazine or any other mean done a top 10 list or something like that?
It could be your own personal favorite, but would love a list from a professional website or something similar if possible. Thanks
