I have an assignment in band class where I have to find three classical composers who were born at least 100 years apart and in different countries. I have to do a short bio of each of them and then a short review of one of their pieces I enjoyed. Any suggestions as to who I should use as composers or which pieces I should review?
Mine are Paul Rodgers and David Coverdale.
What is your favorite classical music song? Preferably not anything from Mozart, Bach, or Beethoven.
Recently I’ve been into classical music. Before i wouldn’t be caught dead listening to classical music but now I’m more open minded. I bought the cd “the beauty of barber” and i loved it, especially Adagio for strings. I also bought Debussy’s clair de lune but that was thanks to Twilight. I perfer more soothing and relaxing music. Something i could read to or fall asleep to. what would you recomend? what are your favs?

Recently switched to classical guitar after spending way to many years on the electric guitar playing metal. Just wanted to see what others people opinion are on classical guitar works.
I read some article online how liberals are more interested in a wide range of music while conservatives tend to prefer country and gospel music. But I wanted to see what the world liked to listen to and what their political beliefs are.

Favorite bands: AC/DC, Franz Ferdinand, Cold Play, Muse, The Beatles, Enya, Bob Marley, Queen, Modest Mouse. I am also in love with “Clair de Lune” by Debussy and the Moulin Rouge soundtrack.
Nancy, her son and I just got back from Universal Studios and we all had a great time.
While we were there they had a Blues Brothers show that we caught the tail end of. They had kids that were in the audience on the stage dancing and the impersonators sounded really good.
I am a young classical guitarist, and I often find myself wanting for a good piece to listen to while doing homework. Please list your favorites, and why you like them. Thanks!
