I play bass in a jazz quartet of bass, vocals, drums, and piano. Would girls find a guy playing an upright bass hot?
For the end of the year dance show at my school a group of juniors from the dance team and I are wanting to perform. I need an upbeat song, possibly a show tune if its not to talkative. Last year we did “The Way You Make Me Feel” By Michael Jackson. So we’re looking for something just as appealing to the audience.
Yes, this sounds bizarre. I’ve told some women/girls I listen to classical music when they ask me, “What do you listen to?”. They end up ranting at me, calling me a nerd, dork, freak, gay etc.
Wow, I listen to a different type of genre than most guys. I find it rather pathetic that women insult men who are more cultured. It must be a Welsh thing.
Just wondering because it seems i cant find anything in common with any girls my age. Im 14. They dont like short guys, they dont like the saxophone, and they dont like the mixture of the two. So i ask this in hope to find out if im the only one. I love country music i know everyone, and I love to play and listen to smooth jazz.

My favourite composers are Brahms, Bach and Wagner.
I know you girls would probably call me “gay”, “boring” and a”nerd” or whatever.
