I go to a Catholic school, and uniforms at school are a must. This year, they weren’t so bad: Polos with the school logo, school logo hoodies, any kind of khakis, and dress shoes.
However, they changed the dress code for next year and our khakis have to be the disgusting pleated kind that have to get pulled all the way up past our belly buttons and now khaki skirts are incorporated in (but they’re really ugly). Hoodies are banned and we all have to wear ugly v-neck sweatshirts that have a school logo on the side. Polos are still allowed and we can wear oxford shirts with skirts.
I’m not sure if there’s accessorizing limits or set sock colors or anything, so just assume that I’m allowed to do what I want and please, please help me with my dilemma!
Classical liberalism consisted of:
-end of censorship
-freedom of religion
-freedom from arbitrary laws and from judges who just do what the government tells of them.
Classical liberals believed in human rights for everyone and that the public should decide to limit any person’s freedom, they also accepted well established distinctions between the classes. Lastly, they never believed everyone should be equal economically, great differences in wealth and income was perfectably acceptable.
Modern liberals:
-Want to push gay marriage and abortion on people even when the people vote against it calling it unfair.
-spread the wealth from the rich to the poor
-for big government
I have some special white noise stuff, but I’d prefer to listen to some longer slower songs before switching to the white noise. I can’t have anything with words or end up concentrating on that instead of falling asleep. I’ve never really paid attention to classical music, so I have no idea what to look for. I also have Microsoft Zune Pass that I can download from but don’t know what to look for.
I’m president of a concert band that recently decided to transition from a concert repertoire to a jazz band/big band for a multitude of reasons. With the new genre of our group, we plan on marching a lot of parades over the summer and hamming it up for onlookers. However, we need a gimmick – a look/feel/story.
Does anyone have any ideas?
