I like classical music but I dint know any of the composers reputations so I am not sure about pieces that are ‘explosive’. Generally I want militaristic grand music to listen to.
Any help?
(exclude Valkyries)

I have some special white noise stuff, but I’d prefer to listen to some longer slower songs before switching to the white noise. I can’t have anything with words or end up concentrating on that instead of falling asleep. I’ve never really paid attention to classical music, so I have no idea what to look for. I also have Microsoft Zune Pass that I can download from but don’t know what to look for.

that depend on what you’re trying to learn
if you want to be completely baffled about what you can do with a guitar you have to pick up the complete works of robert johnson that man really knew his way around a guitar
if you are looking into some traditional work Son house and leadbelly are always good
John lee hooker is a must for improvisation
bb king is a must for his sound
elmore james is the king of using a slide
stevie ray vaughn is good to learn how fast you can get with a guitar
etc etc etc

I want a website that can let me listen to the most original classical music and know the album because nowadays they twist the song into pop, or make them faster, and include some modern instrument that should not be there. I just want to listen the original one, and not those modified ones.

Down and out, heartbroken, angry.
Musically, who’s talking my language?

Any good albums you listen to at home to do pilates, meditate and do yoga? I haven’t do this for my research for my novel, since I’m not flexible to do yoga and pilates. But any preferences of any music to do it to, from pilates and yoga instructors, and any one who takes the classes? I’ve listed Michael BublĂ© in my novel. Would he be good too?

I have taken several martial arts, and currently am addicted to Krav Maga. During our classes, we play a lot of blood pumping music and aggressive songs to get us in the fighting mood. I am putting together a collection of my own of songs like that. I’m open to all ideas, but make sure these songs are up-beat and will drive someone forward(maybe angry, aggressive), but not just scream.

If you would, state some of your favorite jazz musicians first, and then list some of your favorite rock/pop (or any music) that is still interesting/enjoyable when you listen to it closely and without distractions.
