Don’t get me wrong I’ve been listening to this music for many years, but I am not too big fan on categorizing music… Even so today I wondered what is the difference. All the 3 sub-styles sound more ambient and chill-out that let’s say Darkstep . Jazz and bass seems to use more ‘real’ instruments in the tracks but that can be said for any of the other 2 styles… So what is your opinion?
I have to write an Internal Assessment for my history class [yes, IB if you were wondering, lol] and the topic I chose was 1920s jazz.
My teacher wants us to write our thesis as a question, but it cant be a “how” question [i.e. "how did jazz influence the social standing of blacks?"].
I’m having a little trouble thinking of a question to use as my thesis. Any suggestions would be AWESOME. Just as long as it pertains to 1920s jazz and is not a “how” question.
Thank you!
I’m having a dinner dance for my son’s 21st birthday. The party is going to be in July and the venue is about two hours from my house (in my son’s neighborhood). In addition, I will not have use of a kitchen at the hall. We are having chicken and rolls with salad catered. I am looking for some other food ideas that are not the typical buffet style dinner foods, i.e… pasta, and beef. I’ve been trying to find other main dishes that would go along with the jazz theme, but haven’t had much luck. One idea I have been kicking around is a “roll your own wrap” putting the fixins out there and letting guest make there own, I’m just not sure if it would be too much for the guests to do or too big and not go with the theme of the party. I would really appreciate any advice or ideas. Thanks!
