It seems that women these days are so shallow, that they even hate men who listen to a different genre of music?
Why are most women these days so close-minded?
To be honest, I can see why some men ‘turn’ gay.

is Contemporary dance more like jazz or lyrical or is it one thing all by it self?

What piece is most recognized? It doesn’t have to be the best piece but I would like to know the most famous.

I want to get some music for my friend, but I don’t know his taste in music. I just know that he played french horn in high school, and told me he still always spots that sound in music.

I don’t know if it’s classical. But there’s just something about ‘Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’ that just makes my head take on a life of its own.

I want something slow and beautiful like Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. Or possibly something that’s beautiful, but chilling and dark at the same time. Where you can just feel it in the piano playing.
Suggestions?

Also, I was very interested in what i call the hardcore of classical (i.e. ones like Marche Slave, and some parts of Romeo and Juliet, I and V) things that will just make me wanna blast the radio as loud as possible, you know? Im kinda new to this stuff but i think they call it russian style or hungarian, or something…idk. but whatever you think is similar will help thanks

I’m really just looking to build my vocabulary of music theory. I figure if I start getting a whole lot of progressions I can start linking chords together in fresh ways. I’m also working on building on my arpeggio shapes. I know all the basic major, minor, maj7, m7, dominant 7, half-diminished 7 and so on, but I need to really build on this stuff to get music theory out of my head and into my hands.

There is a British composer of videogame music called Rob Hubbard who wrote the extraordinarily good Monty on the run theme tune, which still sounds incredible despite it running on a Commodore 64 (which had good sound capabilities though). If he had released it as a classical piece of work he would have blown a lot of other people out of the water but because it’s regarded as just part of a ‘game’ then he will not get the acclaim he deserves.
