I’m in a jazz class but next year i’m going to be more serious with dance. over the summer i hope to have all the basic moves mastered. I’m 13 btw, and been dancing for like 8 months.
please name 5 basic jazz moves and 5 basic ballet moves
if possible, a video or an explanation on how to learn it would be greatly appreciated. but if not just the name of the move will be fine

In authentic jazz, it seems most dance moves start on 8. Why is this?

I am making a dance jazz solo to a Joe Satriani song but need some exciting ideas to catch attention….what should i do?
