i m a pianist, but i dont know if i should study the 4 years of classical training and then study jazz.
I’m majoring accounting because I could not find everything I wanted with schools with music production majors. How essential is a degree to work in that field? I do some recording on my own and read up on the field, and I’m pretty sure I’d like to work with sound in some capacity as my career.

i wanna become a western singer.i luv singing english songs.i liv in east DELHI.but i cant find any teacher out here who teaches wesstern music.then i was told by some1,dat i need to learn indian classical vocal music 1st(dis teacher is available too) in order to enhance my western singing abilities.IS IT TRUE ?? please help .i’d like to have some suggestions.
I’m enrolled for a course called History of Medieval Music. I’ve had AP theory in high school, but quite a few of the people in the class are music majors who have had advanced theory. Is medieval music complicated stuff or what?
