you know, pantera had their original heavy guitar riffs which made groove metal (basically), Korn made Nu-metal (which most of it sucks), and The big four of Thrash Made well, Thrash metal
one day, i want to be in a famous metal band and maybe start a new metal genre.
so what could i do to be original?
i thought of making a death metal Harmonica, what are all your ideas?
I have an Ext.Hard Drive where I store my music. I recently purchased a new Ext.Hard Drive because the one I have is not working properly. I moved all my music from the old Hard Drive to the new one and now Itunes is asking me to locate it. If I do that I have to locate each individual file. Is there an easier way to do this? I have too much music to locate each individual file.
I don’t know that it had an “original instrumentation”. Probably whatever the composer’s group had at the time. Back that far if there was any written music (rare) then everyone had the same part and played along. Songtrellis says Spencer Williams composed it in 1928. Odds are he composed it and whatever musicians were around on a given night played along.
(Interesting irony….It’s not really a blues)
Consider that Blues cannot trace its direct roots to any African music form or any European music form. And it is the foundation for all American music forms that followed: rock, jazz, even country and bluegrass.
Also, it was prevalent early in this country’s history – some historians say that it became common as early as the late 1700’s.
Do you agree that Blues is the original – and some would say only – truly American artform?
