We recently bought a glossy red metal frame bed for my daughter. Up til now she was in a hand-me-down racecar bed. I would love to make it extra girlie by painting flowers on it, but I’m not sure what paint to use or how to prep the surface. Please help?
I was wondering what kind of paints most classical arts were created with – or what kind of paint John Waterhouse used. If anyone knows, or can guess – please answer this question.
Thank you.
I need to paint a metal tower for marching band and I need a paint that will A) Work on metal, B)Be rust/weather proof, C) Have a variety of colors available (preferably red, white, and blue), and D) that won’t be too expensive. ‘D’ is the least vital of the four. Thanks for any help.
My door has metal surface, inside is made of wood. There were holes drilled through the metal surface to attach a decorative frame. We wanted to paint the door plain, so we took out the frame thus exposing the holes. Now we were wondering what is the best way to fill these holes before painting – may be fill with wood filler?
I have two wall sconces that are great looking shape/design wise, but they look dated because of it’s gold/brass color. Can I paint the metal parts of these fixtures?
