can anyone please give me any link from where i can learn some basic jazz and blues rhythm.

I’m not talking about the crappy modern RnB with stupid beats here, I’m talking about classic RnB. Also, I’m talking about rock & roll, not rock.
Driving home from work, I turned on WBLS to hear this really good song. I know it was r&b and the lyrics went something like “just let me explain” (the way I feel) and then something about fairytales in the song. And it definitely had a grunge-y male voice, almost like if a rock star and an r&b singer did a collaboration. I would like to say the guy was from Avenged Sevenfold, but then it was soulful towards the end.

What do you consider rhythm and blues? is it the music from the late 40s and 50s like Etta James and Louis Armstrong, or do you consider people like Nelly and Ashanti rhythm and blue?
