I play alto saxaphone and i have about 4 weeks to learn a piece. I want a piece that sounds really good but is reasonably easy. To give you a measure im about a year away from playing charlie parker EASY stuff. Can also tell me were i can get it for free or email the music to me.

I’m great at guitar. However, I don’t know any jazz band songs seeing as I mainly focus on playing metal.

I’m in 7th grade and I’m in the Jazz Band. Two of my other friends and I re trying to make an introduction for our band of about ten people.
We have trumpets, drummers, guitarists, and saxophonists. For our introduction we want it to be short and sweet. It has to sound very jazzy.
We might have solos for each person in the song since there are only ten people but we haven’t discussed that far yet.
I’ve never written music before so need some help!
