Recently i have become very interested in Saxophone music and i am searching for a place to get a cd or download Saxophone solos with just a Sax and no accompanying instruments. So far i have been limited to listening to such Sax solos in youtube videos.
I was wondering if I can get some suggestions on this becuse me and my friends are looking for musical inspration soa list would be nice of songs and bands in thses genreas Blues/Classic rock
i googled it, i asked people, no answers. I can’t afford private lessons not even one so don’t go there. Please a step by step guide, tips, links, anything. Very important and much appreciated.
The epiphone sheraton 2 is basically a cheaper version of the gibson es 335. Basically it doesn’t handle distortion that well with solos. How can i improve my sound with this kind of music, would it help to raise the action or use a higher string gauge?
Does anyone know any blues or blues rock solos I could learn, something along the lines of The Eagles, Cream, BB king etc… I have been playing self taught for about 4 months, so I can’t really play anything too advanced, but I can play the Sunshine of your love solo and the hotel california solo.

I have played flute for about six or seven years now, and I need a classical solo to play for a talent show. I have a few months to learn it. No piano accompaniment, please.
I’ve been playing guitar for 2 1/2 years and I can play a lot metal riffs but when I get to the solos I can do any thing so what are good exercises to improve my fingers in that area. I also struggle with songs that have intricate rhythms, particulary megadeth songs. I know minor pentatonic, major and minor harmonic and minor melodic scales. I play mostly thrash metal songs.
I need to transcribe a 1 minute jazz solo, preferably one chorus, and please suggest a simple one. I don’t have alot of time. Thanks. Would prefer a horn solo if possible.
