Also I am curious if the seat numbers start towards the stage or not. For example, if seat 1 in section 200 is right by the stage or in the aisle more towards the back of the venue.
Often when watching a film you hear very good orchestral music and the name of the composer comes up in the credits. You never hear this music anywhere else. What happens to it? Does it just go into some archive?
I have to give a presentation to high school students on Praeludium and Allegro. I have to play and speak. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on how to present this piece to people who don’t know anything about (and probably don’t like) classical music. I was thinking of comparing parts of the piece to other popular songs they know. Can you think of any songs that have comparable parts (specifically the cadenza)? Thanks!
