I bought a copper colored metal twirley thing at a swap meet – it had a pug cut out in the middle (there are stars, hearts, all shapes and kinds availalable). They also had a black one there – I now want the black one also and tried to find one at the Puyallup Fair but they didn’t have any. Does anyone know where you can buy these online? Or what they are called and/or made of – tin maybe. The are pretty flexible and beautiful when twirling.
Persoanlly I am not much of a clarinet player with jazz, more classical. I have been playing for 4 years and I am currently playing on 3 reeds (vandoren). I was just wondering on reed strengths for jazz clarinet. I hear 1 and 1and a half are traditional like with benny goodman and if so would Vandoren 1s be ok or another brand and what kind of mouthpiece?

I have been trying to eat salads for lunch lately. i have heard spinach has much more nutritional value than does lettuce. Is this true? It doesnt matter too much seeing as how i prefer spinach over lettuce anyways. i have been making my own dressing out of olive oil, vinegar, and basil pesto sauce. I am the type of person who HATES salt, so i’m sure i dont have high levels of sodium in my dressing.

Trying to stretch my brain a little bit. Wanted to get an idea of where to start and how to listen to Jazz music constructively. Also, is Jazz somewhat synonymous with swing? what is the difference? often I see them very close together. thanks for your answers!
