The person in question said this with utmost certainty. Furthermore, I questioned said person on whether or not she thought her statement was rational, and she said “well, of course it is rational. You like jazz so you must be hiding romantic feelings. Everyone says that. There’s nothing illogical about it.”
I’m just wondering whether I am being irrational myself in thinking her to be a complete ninny.

Are you one of “stuffy musical elites” thank think his music is “schlagermusik”. I watched one of his concerts on TV. My general felling was that he is an accomplished musician but the music was like listening to a classical greatest hits album like the ones you bought when you first started listening to classical.
I always like finding great bands that have not been put through the radio meat grinder. i.e. Dave Matthews Band early stuff is way better than the current. Anybody like Great Big Sea, Arlo Guthrie, James Taylor, Eli “Paperboy” Read is awesome. Lately I have been listening to The Orchid Highway. I’m sixteen jus finished gcse’s and i’m goin to college i’ve already decided on taking music english lit and history. I was debating between media and sociology but learnt that unis thought these were “soft” subjects, so i’m stuck i want a subject in department of either arts or humanties and found classical civilisation, but i dont know what unis think of this subject, please help?
