I signed on to play guitar in my schools jazz band for guitar. I just need some tips how to play jazz on the electric guitar
I have a tryout to be a death metal vocalist coming up and I’m looking for some tips. I’ve been in bands before, so I’m not completely new to this. Usually, I play bass though. Anway, I usually practice in the car (I live in a dorm, so it’s the only option.) and record myself on a taperecoder to play it back later. I’ve never screamed into a mic before. Should I tryout with or without a mic? How loud should metal vocals be without a mic. I can’t tell if I’m loud enough.
Oh yeah, my vocals are DevilDriver with maybe a bit of Arch Enemy, just higher. (my voice won’t stay that low)
Any other tips would be appreciated too.
Well, I think nobody likes my house because it is either too plain or too boring. Well I want that to change, so I want to spice my house a bit, and remodel it. I want it not to be boring, and really “cool-ish.” Do you have any pointers or tips to make my house look better?

I am in the jazz band at my high school, and i play the Bari. Sax. I was wondering if there were any tips i should use when i solo
I am nervous but excited at the same time. Should I introduce myself to the audience (although I don’t think anyone will be listening) or should I just play music and introduce each selection? If you have any favorite jazz radio programs, what is it about those programs that makes you enjoy them? Thanks!
I play a classical guitar. I find that even when I cut my index finger fingernail as short as possible, it’s still too long. Anyone have similar issues or tips on fingernail care?
