is Contemporary dance more like jazz or lyrical or is it one thing all by it self?
Persoanlly I am not much of a clarinet player with jazz, more classical. I have been playing for 4 years and I am currently playing on 3 reeds (vandoren). I was just wondering on reed strengths for jazz clarinet. I hear 1 and 1and a half are traditional like with benny goodman and if so would Vandoren 1s be ok or another brand and what kind of mouthpiece?

I like listening to modern jazz and blues when im sad. anyone have any sugestions?
Im 16 and i am doing a jazz class in a month or so. I was wondering if anyone has advice on stretches or anything so ill be ready. I took ballet, tap, and jazz when i was little but i dont remember any of it.
