You have said it all. Plus, you win some and loose some. Arsenal were a disappointment in the last three seasons but look at them today.
You win some. You lose some. It all evens itself out.
The ref got both desicion wrong, but Man U where justifiably the better team
Well, let’s be fair—there was also a blatant, clear penalty that should have been awarded to Man Unt. that was completely ignored. Bad calls go both ways.
I have no sympathy with Mikel. He went into the tackle with his studs showing and could have caused serious injury. On match of the day they were saying he did not do it out of malice. This is beside the point. I dare say he did not mean to hurt the player but if you go in with studs showing you are running the risk of being sent off. Man Utd were lucky to score the first goal when they did as the half should have finished. As to the penalty – this was a disgrace. Saha should have been shown the red card for blatant diving. However the game was over by then and the better team won.
He was wrong in the Red Card but he only had the one look at it and Mikel could easily have been construed as leading with both feet at that speed
Saha was definitely brought down, even though he made the most of it
has for the the injury time goal, Who knows but the Ref
All in all i think it was below average performance by the Ref but not that bad that he warrants a suspension.
no way! Mikel didn’t deserve a red card and the ref deliberately blew the whistle late so Man Utd could score!!
(i do agree that the Red Devils are the stronger team though).
the ref was man utd’s 12th man
