He went into the tackle with his studs showing and could have caused serious injury. On match of the day they were saying he did not do it out of malice. This is beside the point. I dare say he did not mean to hurt the player but if you go in with studs showing you are running the risk of being sent off. Man Utd were lucky to score the first goal when they did as the half should have finished. As to the penalty - this was a disgrace. Saha should have been shown the red card for blatant diving.
