I personally think Winton Marsalis is a great teacher, defender and promoter of jazz AND a good trumpet player… but I feel that he never really “says anything” when he plays…he never plays an idea that has much meaning…

If you are looking for SMOOTH JAZZ, I definitely can help you!!! I recommend you to listen to every song that has been produced by Chris “big dog” Davis… Almost all the hottest songs out there right now are from him. By the way, he is a producer…so you won’t find any album of his own.
