How Do I Get Stains Out Of My Usmc Dress Blues? How To I Transfer Music From Ipod To Itunes?
Feb 252010

Don’t get me wrong I’ve been listening to this music for many years, but I am not too big fan on categorizing music… Even so today I wondered what is the difference. All the 3 sub-styles sound more ambient and chill-out that let’s say Darkstep . Jazz and bass seems to use more ‘real’ instruments in the tracks but that can be said for any of the other 2 styles… So what is your opinion? :)

One Response to “What Are The Main Differences Between Liquid Drum And Bass, Intelligent Drum And Bass And Jazz And Bass?”

  1. LACOSTZI says:

Liquid D&B tends to have very complicated, thrilling, and almost ingenious rhythms, and is very fast. Personally, my favorite form of Drum and Bass. It isn’t necessarily ambient or chill-out, usually.
A good example is Photek – “Baltimore” (Tech Itch and Dylan Remix).
Intelligent D&B is slower and more ambient than Liquid. There are a few examples but they escape me at the moment.
Jazz and Bass is something I’ve never heard of, but I assume it could be even slower than iD&B. My guess is that a good example would be Steve Woodzell – “Fuijunk”.
