We are in a basement apartment with a fireplace. Someone painted the bricks a pale gray and did the lines with white. The only thing I can think of for furniture is black and white or white and black. Help~

White, black, and in-your-face red would look good. Or, if you don’t want to go for daring colors, maybe a pale gray-blue or a weak lavender?
