I’m sixteen jus finished gcse’s and i’m goin to college i’ve already decided on taking music english lit and history. I was debating between media and sociology but learnt that unis thought these were “soft” subjects, so i’m stuck i want a subject in department of either arts or humanties and found classical civilisation, but i dont know what unis think of this subject, please help?
It depends what subject you want to study at uni – if you want to do Classics then of course its great! It’ll be a good subject if you’re planning on going onto any kind of history/classics/english later on.
I just finished an Ancient History degree at Kings College London and loads of people had classical civillisation A Levels so I think they took it as a serious subject.
