I did The Great Gatsby in 8th grade that was great. I was in accelerated english and english lit so I also did Tomorrow When the War Began by John Marsden (although that’s Australian) and Looking For Alibrandi (also Australian). They were great books. Um, you could always do a Shakespeare play? Macbeth is a foolproof one, same with the Merchant of Venice and A Midsummer Nights Dream.
hah i dont suggest gonw with the wind for eighth grade… last year we just watched thataa movie in 8th and it like4/6 hours long!! unless ur like realy big on reading. hmm idk classical? ,aybe lord of the flys… depressing, but usually something ull eventually have to ready in ur school carrer
i am reading The odessy by Homer its a little boring at parts but really makes you wish you could be in the story
