I went there when I was there a year ago, but I forgot the name.
It’s a nice little restaurant, and if I remember correctly you can go into the basement and there is a nice dining area down there with live (jazz) music.
It is close to the Phillips Hotel cause thats where I was staying.
You are thinking of The Majestic Steakhouse. Great food, great jazz. Reservations are recommended to get a seat in the basement.
But why stop there? You should also think about visiting The Phoenix just a few blocks northeast of The Majestic as well as Jardine’s on The Plaza, The Blue Room and the Mutual Musicians Foundation in the Jazz District.
