I need a good up-beat song for a jazz dance, but not an actuall jazzy-like song. Do you thing a classic rock type of song would be good(like Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, Rush…)? Could you please help me with choosing a song?!
“Last Child” by Aerosmith has a great funky beat.
Led Zeppelin songs tend to run pretty long but you could easily cut it short. I’d suggest “The Immigrant Song” or “The Ocean” (although the latter would be a little trickier because of the rhythm).
Another great song to dance to with an awesome beat: “Young Lust” by Pink Floyd.

its really hard to find a song for dances…i know. this isn’t classic rock(at all), but its a really nice upbeat song that you could really do some smooth moves (=P) with!
