I just wanna cry all day over nothing for no reason
I have no one to talk to
I get no help
I just feel alone and left out
I know i would never hurt my son though

I don’t think it’s been long enough to really call it PPD, but you wouldn’t want to wait until it advanced either. I think you really need to think about hiring some help if nobody is willing to help you, because from your last question, the situation you are in is a formula for disaster. Even having someone come watch him for 4 hours a day so you can sleep the whole time would help you get through the night.. Or someone who is willing to be a mothers helper all day. It doesn’t have to be expensive, pay someone 7 bucks an hour and have them stay for 3. You really need some support, and I hope you seek some out.
Although insignificant for what you need right now, I’m here for you.

my doctor said that at SIX weeks if you still felt that way then that’s when it was PPD. obviously there’s some discrepancy between what doctor’s say because the first poster said 2 weeks. at the 6 week pp appointment, they ask you if you’re feeling PPD symptoms. I do know that it takes a while for your hormones to return to normal. I also know that I was a mess up until the 6 week appointment and then it started getting better. I’m fine now, no medications or anything.
when all is said and done though, you know your body best, eh? give your doctor a call.

You sound like you are going through post partum depression right now.You should make an appointment to see your doctor and explain the situation to him. They have groups that young mothers and babies go to where there are people in the same situation that you are in .Its a big job looking after a new born and with no one to assist you must be very difficult.See your Doctor honey and you will feel better. If you dont dont have a family doctor they have health units or clinics who can help.Good Luck

When you feel this way for more than two weeks after the delivery of your child. I would go see a doctor asap. I had postpartum depression and it was horrible. I am on Zoloft now and am to enjoy being a mother. I still have my days but it’s a whole lot better than it was.

My midwife told me when the blues hang around for over 2 weeks then I should get some help. I am so glad I finally recognized it around 4 months postpartum. I only needed Zoloft for 3 months!
